Yep! that's me and my peanut |
I am returning to school to finish my Bachelor's Degree in secondary education. I am a major history fanatic, it actually rivals and coincides with my passion for beer.
I am always looking for suggestions or ways to improve my blog, and new beers to try. I hope to hear from you!

I will admit that I have a preference for Belgian style brews over IPA's... so I will be the first to admit that I might not be the best judge of that style of beer. I have heard that "sour is the new hoppy" and I have to say, that if that is the case, I am very sad to hear it. I would rather drink 3 double IPA's than one sour beer. Call me old fashioned, but isn't sour beer a sign that your beer is bad?
I am always looking for new beer to try, and nothing gets me more excited than free beer. If you are a brewery and you would like me to check out your beer, send me an email. You can email me at sarah@hoppybeergirl.com
