I am looking at my FB fans for HBG... looks like most of my fans are women... that is pretty cool. I never thought that when I started writing about beer I would start caring so deeply about my audience... even when I don't hear from my audience often. I want to know who reads my blog, how I am affecting their day, and if my writing has influenced any choices that have been made. Do you sneak in a quick read on your lunch time? Do you save all your blog posts to read on Sunday mornings? That is what I spend my time thinking about, when I am not thinking about what beer to write about. I also think a lot about how I can make my page better, how I can be a better tweeter (is that right) and how am I ever going to find time to put HBG on Google Plus.
Well I was reading a post from Women Enjoying Beer about how to get your beer groove on, see what Ginger wrote here. I thought it was a great post, and perfectly timed. As I ask my family and friends for help with my blog in preparation for my upcoming lame surgery, I realize that I have hit a bit of a creative slump. Maybe it's the weather, maybe it's me being sick for like a month straight... whatever it is I want it to be over with. While I can't just give out free beer to everyone who reads my blog, and I can't throw an un-birthday party for you... I can think of things that make me enthusiastic about writing and being creative.

That feels better!
