Because I'm A Girl Party

You may recall that last summer I won a House Party from Budweiser. This year I applied to win a charity party. A charity party, you say? It is not like a pity party. The charity is Plan USA, and it is to promote the "Because I'm A Girl" project, which is focused on raising the socioeconomic standing of women and girls around the world. I recommend that you check out their blog.

So I won the party, and they sent me a bunch of goodies to hep me raise awareness for the charity. One of the things that I got in my party pack was a "virtual gift" catalog.  The catalog has different donation amounts and for each dollar amount it tells you what the money can do for a girl, or a village. I normally don't talk about things like starving children, homeless children, or abused women, so when I tell you that you should check this site out and see how you can help, I mean it. Here is the link if you want to see how you can become a fundraiser too.

Now I couldn't have a party and NOT have beer, and since it happens to also be Cinco De Mayo, I will be serving some high quality Mexican cerveza, and some tasty margaritas.
